Blood Donation Camp 2025 by Tulu Koota Kuwait – Firday 30, May 2025

Tulu Koota Kuwait (TKK), organized a blood donation camp on Friday 30th May 2025 at Kuwait Central Blood Bank, Jabriya, Kuwait. Tulu Koota Kuwait, a prominent cultural association serving the Tulu-speaking community in Kuwait for 25 years, established in 2000, has been dedicated to fostering unity through language while promoting the rich social and cultural values of Tulunadu. The association, affiliated with the Indian Embassy in Kuwait, continues to support educational and welfare initiatives for the community.

TKK is actively participating in various welfare activities in India and Kuwait. The blood donation camp is one among them, with an attempt to pay back to the society with a theme - "Share a Little, Care a Little". This drive from the Tulu Koota association will help significantly to patients in need of blood.

The president of Tulu Koota Kuwait, Mr Shankar Shetty, symbolically inaugurated the noble task. TKK Managing committee members, Executive committee Members and Sub Committee members actively participated by donating blood. TKK Members and individuals from different community participated in this noble task and donated their Gift of Life. Around 60 participants successfully donated blood, showcasing the collective spirit of generosity. TKK volunteers and committee members coordinated the task with enthusiasm and dedication. Mr. Roshan Prashant Quadras, Vice-President of TKK, was instrumental in securing the necessary reservation at the Central Blood Bank and coordinating with officials for the campaign's arrangements. Mr. Sathish Kotyan, TKK's Welfare Officer, successfully coordinated the entire event.

Tulu Koota Kuwait honoured all the blood donors with a certificate as a token of appreciation for their invaluable contribution. Badr Medical Center Farwaniya sponsored a kits containing fruits, fruit juice and special discount coupons to all the Blood donors. Dr. Ghzayel Rashed Al Mutairi, Medical director, Badr medical Center and Mr. Khalid Al Mutairi visited the camp and personally handed over the certificates and kits to the donors, commending TKK's efforts and noble act. The event also received support from TKK's other annual sponsors: Al Mulla Exchange, MA Hythar Group, and WiBi - World of IT Electronics, who extended their regards and support for the initiative.

TKK President, Mr. Shankar Shetty, expressed his gratitude to all the medical staff and officials of the Kuwait Central Blood Bank, Jabriya, for their kind cooperation in ensuring the smooth conduct of the blood donation camp.
