Tulukoota Kuwait successfully organized a Free Medical Consultation Program on 22nd May 2026 Friday at Badr Medical Center, Farwaniya, Kuwait, providing valuable healthcare services to community members. The initiative witnessed an encouraging response, with approximately 100 individuals participating and benefiting from the consultations.
Tulu Koota Kuwait, a well-established cultural association serving the Tulu-speaking community in Kuwait for the past 26 years, was founded in 2000 with the objective of promoting unity through language and preserving the rich cultural heritage of Tulu Nadu. The association, affiliated with the Embassy of India in Kuwait, continues to actively support educational, cultural, and welfare initiatives.
The program was conducted with the objective of promoting health awareness and facilitating access to basic medical advice and preventive healthcare services. Qualified healthcare professionals offered consultations, health assessments, and guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and managing common health conditions.
To ensure the comfort and well-being of participants, breakfast was served to all attendees during the program. Participants expressed appreciation for the opportunity to receive professional medical advice in a convenient and accessible setting. The program also served as a platform to raise awareness about the importance of regular health check-ups and early detection of medical conditions.
Tulu Koota Kuwait's dynamic President, Mr. Vijay Kumar Kairangala, thanked the management and Koota community members and medical team of Badr Medical Center for their support and cooperation in making the event a success. They also acknowledged the volunteers and organizers whose efforts contributed to the smooth conduct of the program.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Abdul Razak (TKK advisor and Manager at Badr Medical Center) appreciated the effort taken by TKK for this noble initiative for community members' welfare and emphasized the importance of organizing such health-focused initiatives to improve public well-being.
The successful participation of around 100 community members reflects the growing need for accessible healthcare services and highlights the positive impact of collaborative community outreach programs.
Photographs of the event were captured by Mr. Sahil Dsouza. Refreshments for the committee members were arranged by Sangeetha Restaurant, Salmiya.
Tulu Koota Kuwait expresses its sincere gratitude to the event sponsors — Al Mulla Exchange, Badr Medical Center Farwaniya, M A Hyther Group, and Al Ahleia Insurance Co. — for their continued support and valuable contribution to the success of the event.
