TKK Managing Committee Met Indian Ambassador:

Newly Elected Members of Managing Committee for 2017 met Indian Ambassador to Kuwait HE. Mr.Sunil Jain on Sunday 19th February 2017.

TKK Managing Committee Members met Indian Ambassador at his office in Indian Embassy Kuwait. All the committee members gave a brief self introduction and TKK President Mr. Wilson D’Souza briefed the Ambassador about the objectives and activities of the association. He thanked the Indian Embassy for all their support to the Association and handed over a flower bouquet as token of gratitude.

TKK President brief him about plans of the association for the year 2017 and gave him the calendar of events along with the details of Members of Managing committee for the year 2017 and a souvenir released during the Grand event - “Tulu Parba 2016”. Further he explained about the arrangements made for the Blood Donation camp organized by the Tulu Koota on 24th February 2017 at Central Blood Bank , Jabriya Kuwait. While the General Secretary Mr.Jagadeeshwara Shanubhogue updated the Ambassador about the welfare activity finalized for the year 2017. He added that TKK will be focusing towards the child welfare during the year and accordingly identified the projects which support the kids with special needs and underprivileged. Further various other matters including cultural activities of the association were discussed during the meeting.

Honorable Ambassador was delighted with the enthusiasm of the committee members and the planned activities of the association, he assured all possible support from him through Embassy and conveyed his best wishes.

On this opportunity TKK Vice President Mr.Vijay Kumar Kairangala requested the Ambassador’s support to resolve the issue with regards to the default by a leading company in Kuwait in paying the salaries and other dues to the employees. Ambassador heard the plead and assured find possible solution to the situation within the limits of the Embassy.
